The Senior Vice President and Chief Financial Officer leads the Global Finance, Treasury, Information Technology, Procurement and Facilities divisions. This position is responsible for providing strategic leadership to the divisions he/she is responsible for and plays a key role in setting the direction for Compassion. The incumbent collaborates with other senior leaders and sets functional strategy. This role will work with members of the Global Executive Team and Board of Directors, as well as will be a change agent in the organization. Decisions are guided by major operational strategy and Compassion's global strategic priorities.
The primary role of the Media Content Specialist is to be a visual storyteller. This intermediate specialist captures videos, photos, and editorial content to support revenue growth and create deeper levels of engagement between Compassion supporters and their beneficiaries. The specialist works within a highly collaborative regional team with a strong emphasis on partnership with international Compassion offices. At this career level, the incumbent generally works independently on moderately complex projects or as a team member on larger projects. He or she may coach other specialists.
*Candidates must be fluent in English, both written and verbal. Bilingual in a secondary language (native to the region) is preferred. Preferred candidates will live in Thailand as this position will be working and travelling in that country.
This senior specialist plans and implements the organization's global security programs. This position provides leadership, training, and direction to staff and leaders throughout the organization. The specialist further provides risk mitigation analysis and guidance on general and specific international security and safety programs and current risks to Compassion interests. At this career level, the incumbent maintains a strong, functional, problem-solving oriented and relationship-based consulting network inside and outside the organization to best serve and advise Compassion stakeholders in security matters both domestically and overseas. Further, she or he often coaches and oversees the work of other specialists and related staff.
This intermediate relationship manager implements customized strategies to generate revenue and/or sponsorships through existing artist relationships. Coordinates Compassion's involvement/partnerships with each assigned channel relationship and works toward specified revenue/sponsorship goals. Works independently on moderately complex revenue/sponsorship generating strategies or as a team member on larger projects.
This position will be based in Nashville, TN and preferred candidates will already live in the region.

This manager leads an information technology support team to provide application and operational support within local offices or remotely. The primary purpose of this position is to provide full, daily management for assigned professional and support staff. This responsibility includes hiring, discipline, and termination, as well as, coaching, performance management, assigning, checking, and approving work to satisfy department objectives. This senior manager leads the accounting team to maintain Compassion's general ledger, work closely with internal clients across the organization to answer financial questions and provide advice on proper accounting, conduct accounting research and analysis, review and interpret historical transactional activity, and complete the month-end and year-end close process. The primary purpose of this position is to provide full management through subordinate managers and/or senior professional staff. This responsibility includes hiring, discipline, and termination, as well as, coaching, performance management, assigning, checking, and approving work to satisfy broad objectives and department strategies. The incumbent will ensure completion of department responsibilities, calling on available resources to achieve department objectives, working within approved budget.

Develops and manages 30-40 group field exposure trips per year to Compassion’s field offices including direct leadership/management of 6 trips per year with 20-60 participants per trip. Formulates and implements strategies to highlight our ministry, deepen sponsor, donor and ministry partner engagement, increase acquisitions of new sponsorships/giving and increase retention sponsorship rate. Serves as subject matter expert on cross-cultural and international trips and acts as a development resource for relationship managers/directors to build experiences that enhance Compassion’s ability to minister to and champion children in poverty.

Leads or co-leads Sponsor Tours, Short Term Mission Trips (STMT) and Vision Trips that support Compassion’s overall constituent marketing strategy on an as-needed, on-call basis up to one trip/month. Responsible for executing mobile app campaigns and appeals for the purpose of engaging, retaining and developing Compassion’s existing sponsor and donor base. This individual will be accountable for increasing revenue and sponsorship engagement metrics. Executes and influences strategies designed to educate and equip existing sponsors to engage more deeply with their sponsored children through prayer, letter-writing, gift-giving and potentially supporting more funds and activities through the Compassion mobile app. Works under supervision and direction of current Sr. Manager who oversees retention and engagement strategy. Maintains a positive and collaborative relationship with in-house mobile app developer team, internal and external creative agencies, Web team, the Call Center, Analytics team and other Compassion teams to ensure each campaign/initiative is produced with excellence.
This seasoned analyst develops and implements programs to establish and maintain quality standards and continuous process improvement for existing and proposed services and operations, as well as developing programs to focus employees on continuous quality improvement. This includes the development of policies, procedures and methods pertaining to operational components that ensure high quality and continuous improvement. Generally conducts process analysis independently or participates as a team member for major, complex, or international processes. Resides within the Supporter Retention & Engagement team, owning the core processes held by this team, while connecting with peers throughout the organization.
This senior specialist implements, grows and matures DevOps practices through people, process and technology, often directly impacting global operations. This includes demonstrated implementation and understanding of complex technical practices. At this career level, the incumbent independently implements and matures major complex continuous integration, automated test driven practices, release automation, automated infrastructure self service, infrastructure as code, canary deployment methods, instrumentation and monitoring, and integrated tool chain management. Reporting to the Vice President of Global Corporate Communications, the senior manager, GME Communications supports the Senior Vice President of Global Marketing & Engagement (GME) and their team with communications strategy and execution that build consensus and collaboration across GME, the Global Partner Alliance (GPA) CEOs and their executive teams and USA senior leadership. These communications cast vision and spur strategies that support product development, help achieve acquisition, engagement and revenue metrics and create understanding and acceptance of corporate behaviors, values and brand. Coaches senior executives, team members and other key stakeholders on communication practices that drive awareness, understanding and engagement. Oversees the design, development, integration, execution and measurement of global communications strategies and plans supporting GME programs and priorities. This person will oversee 2+ supporting GME Division Communications roles that will be defined in the Q1/Q2 Fiscal Year 2018 GME communications realignment conducted by the Global Leadership Office Division organizational development.
Responsible for commitment, one-on-one communication and donation processing for Compassion USA’s Korean-speaking supporters. Performs data entry, sets up EFT and credit card payment information, and communicates with Korean Global Partner regarding commitment transfers and accounts. Processes US and Korean financial transactions, requests for resources, and commitments for sponsor/child relationship for Compassion's constituents with accuracy and timeliness. This senior director and Deputy General Counsel directly impacts the long-term best interest of Compassion International by serving as an advisor to the General Counsel, senior leaders, and key professional high-level staff. This incumbent provides proactive advice that broadly guides Compassion's strategy, policy, and direction from a legal, governance, and best-practices perspective. Working with the General Counsel, he or she directs Compassion's legal affairs domestically, providing specialized counsel and expertise on matters including but not limited to contracts, compliance, policy, employment and labor law, funding, litigation management, copyright and trademark issues, political affairs, and regulations and restrictions pertaining to tax-exempt status. This position provides direction through subordinate directors/managers to the organization's legal department and related processes with the offices of Risk Management.
