This career technician provides senior technical support for end user systems/applications on a variety of issues, identifying, researching, and resolving technical problems. The technician further performs system management functions for client systems using a variety of tools such as Active Directory. He or she may coach and oversee the work of other specialists.
The Assistant General Counsel directly influences the long-term success of Compassion International by serving as an advisor to the Deputy General Counsel for International Affairs and the General Counsel, providing proactive and specialized counsel and expertise on matters including developments in the law of eight countries in Africa, managing outside counsel in Africa and providing international leadership with proactive legal and non-legal advice in their individual contexts. The responsibilities include serving as a resource and legal consultant for the National Leadership Teams from eight African offices and the Africa Regional Leadership on activities like: selection and management of contract service, employee hiring, discipline, and termination, as well as, coaching, performance management, assigning, checking, and approving work to achieve global strategies and objectives. Countries of responsibility include: Ethiopia, Kenya, Tanzania, Uganda, Rwanda, Burkina Faso, Togo, and Ghana.

This experienced technician performs event services setup support, furniture arrangement, and preventative building maintenance. Further, this technician performs general duties such as painting, light bulb replacements, minor electrical, minor plumbing, and limited vehicle maintenance. At this level, the incumbent works independently on building maintenance and repair tasks and handles occasional customer service requests displaying a high level of courtesy and customer service. He or she may coach the work of other technicians. Depending on location, some duties may be performed in collaboration with contract service providers.

This principal accountant maintains the organization's general ledger for major areas of responsibility. She or he consults with internal clients at all levels across the organization to answer financial questions and provide advice and analysis on proper accounting. Further, this incumbent, working in complex areas, is a key contributor to the preparation of financial statements and develops new reports in response to, or anticipation of, ongoing business needs. As a principal professional, the accountant uses advanced knowledge of GAAP, internal financial systems, and other accounting standards to conduct major research and analysis, review and interpret historical transactional activity, and take a key role in complex month-end and year-end close processes. At this career level, the incumbent leads major, complex accounting processes and projects for multiple countries. Further, she or he regularly coaches and oversees the work of other specialists and related staff and is a respected professional in the Accounting discipline outside the organization.
Develops and manages implementation of a broad range of complex mobile marketing communication plans with US sponsors and donors. Responsible for executing mobile app campaigns and appeals for the purpose of engaging, retaining and developing Compassion’s existing sponsor and donor base. Accountable for increasing revenue and sponsorship engagement metrics. Executes and influences strategies designed to educate and equip existing sponsors to engage more deeply with their sponsored children through prayer, letter-writing, gift-giving and potentially supporting more funds and activities through the Compassion mobile app. (The mobile app is key in engaging and retaining Compassion’s existing sponsor base.)
This specialist also provides input into and implements strategies aimed at increasing supporter engagement through the mobile app. Works under supervision and direction of current Senior Manager who oversees retention and engagement strategy. Works with other members of the Supporter Retention and Engagement team and develops and maintains collaborative relationships with the in-house mobile app developer team, internal and external creative agencies, web team, the Call Center, analytics team and other Compassion teams to ensure each campaign/initiative is produced with excellence. May manage, coach and oversee the work of other team members, specialists and related staff.
This intermediate developer is responsible for the lifecycle of corporate-wide and customer-specific SalesForce.com Cloud technology. The specialist further works with other third-party systems and develops necessary custom entities, ensuring components meet business requirements and are ready for production environments. At this career level, the incumbent works on moderately complex development projects as a team member. He or she may coach other specialists.
This Developer is responsible for the lifecycle of critical corporate-wide and customer-specific technology based products, with specific expertise in mobile iOS app development. This specialist further works with primarily third-party systems and develops necessary custom entities, ensuring components meet business requirements. At this level, the incumbent generally works on teams that provide design, development, and services for enterprise and heavily integrated applications.
The Manager of Audit will provide management and oversight of the Audit Supervisors in the Asia region. The incumbent collaborates with global leaders to coordinate audit activities throughout Compassion’s operations. His or her team uses their passion and skills to facilitate organizational accountability and integrity through a variety of audit-related activities including global process audits, local partnership assessments, supporting management requests, and investigations. The cross-cultural leader uses their strong virtual management abilities to provide coaching and guidance to Audit Supervisors as their teams provide assurance around the effectiveness and efficiency of Compassion operations. The regional leader applies their strong, professional internal audit background and operational experience to bring an enterprise and regional perspective to their audit team's successful achievement of department responsibilities. The incumbent develops his or her people to understand global operations, enterprise risk management, and the control framework. The Manager of Audit’s overall responsibilities include working closely with the Audit Management Team to ensure successful implementation of departmental practices within the approved budget, aligning work to support organizational strategy, and developing cross-functional relationships with other functions' regional leaders. His or her people management responsibilities include hiring, coaching, performance management, discipline, and termination, as well as, assigning, checking, and approving work to support the achievement of department objectives.
