This director develops, manages, and drives a global data strategy that supports Compassion's strategic direction and allows other business functions to leverage information to drive their outcomes. This position provides guidance at both the strategic and tactical level, working with their subordinate staff to continually improve the efficiency and effectiveness of Compassion's overall data systems. This responsibility includes hiring, discipline, and termination, as well as, coaching, performance management, assigning, checking, and approving work to achieve global strategies and objectives. The incumbent collaborates with other senior leaders and contributes to the development of functional strategy and makes decisions based on operational strategy and priorities.

As Vice President of Supporter Operations, you will lead the supporter and marketing operations division. As head of this division, you will ensure the delivery of efficient and effective marketing operations, including direction of design, management, and optimization of core processes. You will also collaborate with senior leaders of Compassion's Global Partner Alliance to establish supporter operations partnerships for greater impact, collaboration, and efficiencies. Furthermore, you will be responsible for maintaining standards of excellent customer service and care for supporter interactions through Compassion's call center. In this position, your primary role will be to provide direction and leadership through subordinate directors and managers. You will own your team members’ performance management, development, and work direction in alignment with the ministry’s global strategies. Finally, you will work with other senior leaders to set functional strategy and direction.   What will you do? - Maintain a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. - Act as an advocate for children. Drive work in the functional disciplines of process improvement, monitoring, user adoption, and training across marketing, fundraising, and strategic relationships as well as in collaboration with leaders of Compassion’s Global Partner Alliance. - Working through subordinate leaders and mangers, direct core marketing processes including letters, communications, intervention reporting, trips and visits, MI3, disaster, and sensitive messaging/funds. - Provide high-level direction and leadership of Compassion’s call center and supporter care interactions. Direct metrics and reporting efforts driven by data collected from all supporter interactions to ensure the highest level of supporter care and engagement. - Lead the strategy for how technology, process, or data changes are communicated/resolved and transitioned to Operations or Technology for further follow-up as needed. - Lead digital production operations, providing technical integration and operational support to Compassion’s marketing campaigns and operations. - Working through subordinate leaders, optimize inventory allocation for Sponsorship, Targeted Response, and Trips and Visits for Compassion and its Global Partners to ensure appropriate inventory balance and cost management. Ensure appropriate and accurate reporting on costs related to each product. - Provide leadership, planning and consultation to subordinates, executives, and peer management in the successful alignment of assigned department resources to ensure achievement of operational priorities and initiatives, integrating priorities within organizational strategies to ensure that department's purpose is fulfilled. - Prepare and administer the annual budget and departmental expenses, ensuring accountability for on-time completion of deliverables based on department objectives, SLAs, and other Compassion standards. - Select, manage, and develop assigned staff. Establish goals and objectives in order to effectively coach and manage performance. As Vice President of USA Marketing, you will lead Compassion’s USA-facing marketing organization.
