  • Overview

    This senior change management specialist will lead the implementation of effective cross functional / global changes through sound change management methodology and lead major, complex, or international change management projects across multiple countries. Develop and implement tools as needed, working with key stakeholders, and helping to integrate across other projects as appropriate. Interacts with senior leadership to raise effective change awareness, keep leadership apprised of project status, and ensure effective change process and decision-making. Collaborates closely with the team which is responsible for the corporate change management framework and methodology, under the direction of the Sr. Director of Change, Org Design and Deployment. Frequently coaches and oversees the work of supporting staff and provides expertise across levels and disciplines. 

    Essential Job Functions

    Responsibilities

    • Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ, maintains a courteous, Christ-like attitude in dealing with people within and outside of Compassion, and faithfully upholds Compassion’s ministry in prayer.
    • Acts as an advocate for children – raising the awareness of the needs, neglect, nurture, and potential of children in poverty and challenging and enabling those within one’s influence to greater involvement and effectiveness on behalf of children.
    • Leads and champions change integration across major projects and initiatives. Works to identify change saturation across common audiences as needed.
    • Thinks strategically and proactively across change initiatives.
    • Works with the key stakeholders to create and continuously improve a solid Compassion change management methodology based on understanding of change management standards and best practices.
    • Socialize and implement methodology among leaders and teams.
    • Ensures the change management methodology and process aligns with project goals, other related group-level strategy and objectives, and is consistent with the corporate change management framework and methodology.
    • Esures alignment of change initiatives that he or she may oversee.
    • Collaborates with a variety of different groups under project leadership to identify and implement a sound and comprehensive change management methodology, process, and tools within assigned major change initiative(s).
    • Leverages in-depth knowledge of all the foundational phases of a sound change management process to successfully develop a case for change, analyze and manage stakeholders, plan and communicate engagements, analyze impact, assess organizational readiness, and align the organization.
    • Provides education and leadership regarding the change methodology and process including project members, stakeholders, Compassion leadership and change agents as needed.
    • Leads the promotion of sound change management methodology and serves as a change management resource and subject matter expert. May serve as a change management consultant as needed.
    • Coaches and provides expertise, and may oversee the work of other professionals and support staff in the change management discipline.

    Education

    • Bachelor's Degree Business, Quality Management, or related discipline


    Work Experience

    • Ten years Professional experience working in strategic partnership or similar field.


    Licenses and Certifications

    • Certified Change Management Professional (CCMP) designation by the Association of Change Management Professionals.

    Working Environment: Office – Standard Office Environment

    Physical Demands: Sitting, standing, and/or walking for up to 8 hours per day

    Travel Requirements: May be required to travel up to 10% of normal schedule
