    This senior deployment analyst provides high-quality, timely and actionable data to help leaders make better-informed decisions byproducing complex operational, financial, effectiveness and market intelligence data by discovering and querying major repositories and other sources. The analyst also interprets data, formulates reports and makes significant recommendations based upon the research findings. This effort requires the application of qualitative and quantitative techniques, including predictive analysis, to interpret the data and produce substantiated recommendations. The analyst further devises methods for identifying data patterns and trends in available information sources. This is a highly skilled professional who serves as an expert analyst on major, critical research and strategic initiatives. Further, she or he often coaches and oversees the work of other analysts and related staff.

    Essential Job Functions

    Responsibilities

    • Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ, maintains a courteous, Christ-like attitude in dealing with people within and outside of Compassion, and faithfully upholds Compassion’s ministry in prayer.
    • Acts as an advocate for children – raising the awareness of the needs, neglect, nurture, and potential of children in poverty and challenging and enabling those within one’s influence to greater involvement and effectiveness on behalf of children.
    • Responsible for the collection, curation and analysis of internal and external data.
    • External Strategic Analyst focuses on external sources of data related to geopolitical and environmental trends, external markets, etc.
    • Processes, analyzes and interprets data based on a deep understanding of existing business processes and industry knowledge.
    • Develops systems for collecting and reporting data.
      Provides reporting and dashboards to help the organization monitor the current state of the business and how strategic decisions will impact it.
    • Uses data to create narratives that give business leaders insights about new trends as well as areas the organization may need to improve upon.
    • Works with senior management to formulate major analysis plans and designing or developing complex questionnaires, tests, research plans, and other guides to ensure the necessary data is captured to perform an actionable analysis and recommendation.
    • Mines research data from available external sources, industry reports, public information, field reports, or purchased sources with revenue generation of effectiveness strategy and business result implications.
    • Based on predictive analytics, authors major reports profiling and predicting outcomes related to marketing, program, financial, or economic issues for review by executives, managers, and other stakeholders.
    • Coaches and provides expertise, and may oversee the work of other professionals and support staff in the business intelligence discipline.

    Education

    • Bachelor's Degree Accounting, Finance, Management Information Systems, Business Administration, or related discipline


    Work Experience

    • Ten years Professional experience working in market research, statistical analysis, business intelligence or similar field, involving data modeling, data mining, or data science. Experience using statistical analysis/programming tools such as SAS, SPSS, or R.


    Licenses and Certifications

    • Certified Business Intelligence Professional of Certified Market Research Analyst Designation.

    Working Environment: Office – Standard Office Environment

    Physical Demands: Sitting, standing, and/or walking for up to 8 hours per day

    Travel Requirements: May be required to travel up to 10% of normal schedule
