  • Overview

    Represents Print Operations in a cross functional team environment with a strong emphasis on print manufacturing knowledge, internal customer service and results. Identifies project requirements, understands the print media manufacturing/shipping processes and provides clear project job ticketing and manufacturing plans for marketing campaigns to ensure successful production and hand-off to other teams in the Distribution Center.

     

    Negotiates project delivery dates and coordinates with production and Marketing Project Managers to ensure on time completion according to specifications for quality production in print, finishing, and inserting materials. Works closely with Avanti System Administrator to ensure accurate and timely job initiation, and monitors internal print projects from launch through completion, helping to resolve potential issues, optimize material usage and reduce risk.

    Responsibilities

    • Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ, maintains a courteous, Christ-like attitude in dealing with people within and outside of Compassion, and faithfully upholds Compassion’s ministry in prayer.
    • Acts as an advocate for children – raising the awareness of the needs, neglect, nurture, and potential of children in poverty and challenging and enabling those within one’s influence to greater involvement and effectiveness on behalf of children.
    • Provides insight regarding job complexity to assist Marketing, Campaign Activity Management (CAM) and Supporter Retention and Engagement (SRE) to determine correct lead time for development and production.
    • Informs CAM project managers on production capacity to advise on schedule planning. Serves as key facilitator of the on-line production schedule.
    • Serves as a primary contact for job status or issues to Marketing, CAM, SRE and Sponsor Donor Services teams.
    • Provides manufacturing and cost option information (including full project cost estimates) to help shape development of a project.
    • Gathers job requirements and provides a complete job profile for planning.
    • Coordinates with Avanti System Administrator to transition from manually developed job tickets to auto-generated job tickets in Slingshot.
    • Assists as a back-up for Avanti Slingshot System Administrator and operates in all modules of the Avanti Slingshot user interface.
    • Coordinates job entry specifications to enable Xerox FreeFlow Core workflow

    Education

    • Bachelor's Degree in related field.


    Work Experience

    • Print media production background required.

    Working Environment: Office – Standard Office Environment

    Physical Demands: Sitting, standing, and/or walking for up to 8 hours per day

    Travel Requirements: May be required to travel up to 10% of normal schedule
