  • Overview

    Do you have a strong background, as an IT Asset management professional, working in the ServiceNow platform and with experience understanding software license types such as Microsoft, Oracle, Adobe, IBM, and more?  If so you may be interested in this opening on our IT Service Management team.  The successful incumbent for this role will be someone who thrives in a small team environment, but can maitain a customer group that includes the entire organization.  Self-starting, detail-oriented, and someone not afraid of repetitive work is a must.  Despite the detailed and tactical nature of some of the work this job requires there is also a need for someone who can understand processes quickly, think strategically from a global mindset and have the desire to help streamline processes and procedures. 

    Essential Job Functions


    • Maintains a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Is a consistent witness for Jesus Christ, maintains a courteous, Christ-like attitude in dealing with people within and outside of Compassion, and faithfully upholds Compassion’s ministry in prayer.
    • Acts as an advocate for children – raising the awareness of the needs, neglect, nurture, and potential of children in poverty and challenging and enabling those within one’s influence to greater involvement and effectiveness on behalf of children.
    • Act as point of escalation for customer for asset management assistance
    • Audits software licensing usage reporting versus organization needs
    • Enhance software asset management functions across the enterprise
    • Facilitate support teams execution of asset management techniques
    • Inventory, reationalize, and manage lifecycle of software licenses
    • Manage and participate in proactive continual improvement initiatives related to streamlining processes
    • Manage lifecycle of all IT Assets in the environment
    • Provide daily support of the ServiceNow platform
    • Develop, configure, and improve asset management capabilities in ServiceNow
    • Work with ServiceNow and other vendors to analyze and resolve break/fix issues.

    • Bachelor's Degree Information Technology, Computer Information Systems, Disaster & Emergency Management or related discipline

    Work Experience

    • Three to five years Asset Management experience (hardware and software)
    • Two years ServiceNow experience
    • Lean/Agile experience (preferred)

    Licenses and Certifications

    • ITIL Certification (preferred)

    Working Environment: Office – Standard Office Environment

    Physical Demands: Sitting, standing, and/or walking for up to 8 hours per day

    Travel Requirements: May be required to travel up to 10% of normal schedule
