This director leads the business support function of Compassion field offices in Asia region. Areas of management include operations, financial review, information processing, project management, business intelligence and change management. Is generally supporting the larger organization with multiple cross country or regional operations. The primary purpose of this position is to provide direction through subordinate managers and staff in the areas listed above. This responsibility includes hiring, discipline, and termination, as well as, coaching, performance management, assigning, checking, and approving work of subordinate staff memebers to achieve global strategies and objectives. The director collaborates with other senior leaders and contributes to the development of functional strategy, making decisions based on operational strategy and priorities.
*Candidates must be fluent in English, both written and verbal. Bilingual in a secondary language (native to the region) is preferred. Preferred candidates will also already live in Philippines, Indonesia, Thailand, Sri Lanka or Bangladesh.
